Listening to this fascinating audiobook while I try and organize my bookshelves. The 'hermit' was a man named Chistopher Knight, he was an avid reader. It blows my mind that he was able to survive in the manner he did for so long. I liked Michael Finkel's writing style and will look for more of his work. I also found the interviews with Christopher amusing, he had a few quotable moments. I may add those here later.

Annotating books?

I have been trying to find ways to better write about books for feedback, reviews and discussions. One of the key points I keep coming across is annotations but I'm having a hard time getting started, mostly I can't bring myself to mark up a book and it takes me out of the story when I keep stopping to take notes or highlight. Maybe I should try dictation? I can read and talk at the same time 🤔
