Today's library books - How to Read and Why by Harold Bloom, The Island of Lost Maps by Miles Harvey, The Tangled Tree by David Quammen, and ,Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin.
Listening to this fascinating audiobook while I try and organize my bookshelves. The 'hermit' was a man named Chistopher Knight, he was an avid reader. It blows my mind that he was able to survive in the manner he did for so long. I liked Michael Finkel's writing style and will look for more of his work. I also found the interviews with Christopher amusing, he had a few quotable moments. I may add those here later.
